Restoration Technician

Job TitleOne Way Property Restoration is looking to round out our restoration division with an experienced restoration technician.Position SummaryWe provide 24-hour water damage restoration to the multi-family industry in the Seattle and surrounding areas. Our recent partnership with a national construction company has enabled us to grow and expand our team.ResponsibilitiesPerform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards.Set dehumidifiers, fans, air scrubbers, and other equipment at the worksite, ensuring proper setup and removal.Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation.Perform initial loss inspection.Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc., and perform general demolition after a loss.Act as a daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.Participate in our 24-hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on-call schedule.Drive company vehiclesOther duties as assigned based on skill level growthProven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComply with ONE WAY policies and procedures and legislative requirements.Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections: Operate a motor vehicle per ONE WAY's vehicle policyQualificationsValid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordAbility to lift 50 lbsIICRC certifications with 2 years of experienceSatisfactory background checkWillingness to TravelAble to be on-callAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Great Communication and Customer Service Skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and stressCompensation: $27.00 per hour
