Staff Accountant

Role Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant who can help bring structure, accuracy, and visibility to our accounting processes. This person will be instrumental in supporting multiple reports, improving reconciliations, and helping build a stronger month-end close process . A major focus of this role will be cash forecasting , making it critical for this candidate to be comfortable working with numbers, trends, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, understands the importance of clean financial processes, and preferably has some familiarity with the insurance industry . We are open to candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree or are currently pursuing one. Responsibilities Supporting and improving month-end close Managing and reconciling multiple accounting reports Assisting with cash forecasting and financial visibility Identifying reporting discrepancies and helping resolve them Supporting process creation and documentation Partnering with leadership on accounting and reporting needs Preferred qualifications Undergraduate degree completed or in progress Accounting, finance, or related experience Insurance industry understanding Strong Excel and analytical skills Highly organized, dependable, and process-oriented This role is a great fit for someone who wants to grow, contribute, and help build a more scalable accounting function. #J-18808-Ljbffr Choice Auto Protection
