Location: Cincinnati, OH Area

Work Setting: Remote, must reside in the Greater Cincinnati area

Pay: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st Shift

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client to hire a Supplier Data Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in the Greater Cincinnati area .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounts payable, vendor maintenance, supplier master data, or 1099/TIN processing who enjoys detail-oriented work and is comfortable supporting a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update supplier and vendor master records while ensuring information remains accurate and current.
• Handle sensitive vendor information, including banking and payment-related updates, with a high level of confidentiality.
• Complete assigned requests accurately and within established service-level expectations.
• Process vendor updates, including account changes, category code changes, and other master-data adjustments.
• Complete duplicate TIN reporting, bulk TIN matching, and year-end data preparation for 1099 reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal business partners to obtain or verify necessary information.
• Review and clean up older vendor records to support data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and update procedures and documentation as processes or policies change.
• Support a high-volume environment with approximately 10,000 active vendor records and 2,400 employee/petty cash accounts .
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple requests and priorities in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data, supplier maintenance, or a related accounting function preferred.
• Experience with TIN validation, 1099 processing, or vendor tax information is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with vendor banking changes and maintaining confidential financial information.
• Experience working within an ERP or vendor master system .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in vendor information.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working remotely.
• Must reside in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area .
