We’re on the lookout for an energetic and enthusiastic party host to lead thrilling Nerf battles , splash-tastic pool games , and high-energy gym activities for children Grades K-5! If you love creating unforgettable experiences, have a knack for keeping kids engaged, and can handle a little friendly competition, we want you! Help us make every birthday a celebration to remember. Join us in spreading joy and laughter. POSITION SUMMARY: The Birthday Party Host is responsible for providing service to Kettle Moraine YMCA members and guests by maintaining an active presence at all birthday parties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Arrives 30 minutes before scheduled birthday parties to begin to set up. Ensures room is clean and tidy before and after party ends. Engages with party guests and party hosts. Assists with set up of party room with party host family. Delivers party rules to host and guests, including pool rules if party involves pool area. Set up gym prior to family arriving if party is in gym. Lead party in gym activities if party is in gym. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: 16 years of age minimum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work a flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends. CERTIFICATIONS: 1. Bloodborne Pathogens/Child Abuse Prevention every year PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to frequently sit, use his/her hands and fingers, stand, walk, reach, balance, stoop, crouch, and kneel. Ability to lift, carry and move up to 40 lbs.
