Work Environment

Our clinic operates onsite, providing a friendly and motivating atmosphere where teamwork and patient success are our top priorities. As a Physical Therapist, you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. The clinic is designed to foster innovation and creativity in treatment methods, making it a fulfilling environment for dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and establish realistic personal goals tailored to their needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
  • Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused care.
  • Employ manual therapy techniques to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain while educating patients on treatment processes.
  • Explore and recommend non-surgical treatments and cost-effective solutions to optimize movement and functionality.
  • Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapeutic journey to improve their physical well-being.
  • Document patient care and treatment progress accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), such as WebPT.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive care approach for each patient.
  • Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet changing patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve a patient base with private medical insurance, providing care to individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical patients, and those seeking rehabilitation for various orthopedic issues. Our goal is to empower our patients through education and active participation in their recovery process, fostering an environment that encourages open communication and partnership in care.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
  • Strong foundational knowledge and skill set in manual therapy techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective exercise routines tailored to patient needs.
  • Proficient in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, and able to navigate efficiently for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient care setting is highly preferred, as it will enhance your ability to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing tailored rehabilitation programs that align with evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits
