About the Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN | Nights | Petoskey, MI

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in OB/GYN for a night shift travel opportunity in Petoskey, Michigan . This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience who are passionate about providing exceptional maternal and newborn care.

Position Details

• Specialty: OB/GYN

• Location: Petoskey, MI

• Shift: Nights

• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (occasionally every third)

• On-Call: None

• Openings: 2

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for OB/GYN patients.

• Assist with Labor & Delivery and postpartum care.

• Perform couplet care and newborn stabilization.

• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the patient stay.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow evidence-based nursing practices.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN License (required at submission)

• Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN nursing experience

• Recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Experience with Couplet Care and Newborn Stabilization

• BLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE certifications required

• Pediatrics experience preferred

• Travel nursing experience preferred

• ACLS preferred
