Job Summary - The full-time, tenure-track faculty position of Assistant Professor of Accounting for the Sorrell College of Business/ Carr School of Accountancy is responsible for, but are not limited to: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting; leadership in program development at the undergraduate and graduate level in Accounting; engagement in scholarly activities; mentoring faculty; advising students; commitment to service to the University and community; and other duties as identified by the Director of the School of Accountancy and Dean of the College of Business.

Minimum Qualifications - A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB school is required. ABD candidates will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications - Preference will be given to candidates with strong records of research and teaching, CPA and/or CMA certifications, specialization in either audit or financial accounting.

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties? - Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
