Shifts: 7pm-7:30am weekend nights (F, S, S, or S, S, M)


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Stepdown for a travel assignment in Morgantown, WV. This is a dynamic role within a fast-paced Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit, also recognized as a Comprehensive Bariatric Surgery Center. The position involves working with both stepdown and floor patients, offering nurses the opportunity to practice at the top of their scope across multiple care modalities.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Care for patients with multi-trauma, TBI, fractures, and general surgical needs
• Manage complex wound care, drains, and devices
• Support patients with respiratory needs and chest tubes
• Work with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries
• Validate and read patient monitors and strips
• Float to similar units as required

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Valid RN license
• Experience with EPIC and level 1 trauma
• BLS Certification
• Experience with a 1:6 ratio for floor patients and 1:3 for stepdown patients
• Experience in acute care settings
