Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in McKinney, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP, demonstrate Meditech experience, and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. The assignment covers night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week scheduled from September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; current Emergency Room registered nurse license; experience with Meditech electronic medical record system; 0 or more years of experience; located in or willing to commute to McKinney, TX.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HCA or Meditech systems, quick start capability, and minimal PTO requests.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should possess high energy, self-motivated, and amicable personalities suited for high-caliber patient experience skills. The unit operates with a team of 73 FTE staff, including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and paramedics, with patient ratios of 1:4 in zone. The dress code is royal blue scrubs. The unit follows specific policies and guidelines, which are available upon request. Candidates are expected to work four weekend shifts within a four-week period and have no scheduled on-call duties.
