Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned plant locations, providing proactive communication and operational support. Coordinate communication between operations, carriers, and plant stakeholders to resolve shipment disruptions and service issues. Monitor transportation performance, identifying trends related to delays, failures, dwell time, and network exceptions. Analyze operational data and develop reports, scorecards, and performance metrics to support business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with operations teams to identify root causes of service failures and implement corrective actions that improve network performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with plant personnel, carriers, and internal stakeholders to improve communication and customer satisfaction. Support carrier performance by improving shipment visibility, communication, and execution throughout the transportation network. Participate in strategic projects including network enhancements, process improvements, and operational initiatives that improve service and reduce cost. Assist with developing communication standards, escalation processes, and best practices to improve operational consistency. Prepare presentations and executive summaries highlighting operational performance, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities. What you'll need to excel At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics It'd be great if you also have: Experience analyzing operational data and developing reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams Experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Experience creating dashboards or performance scorecards using Power BI or similar reporting tools Experience driving continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment visibility and transportation performance metrics Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match Pre-tax accounts to help streamline eligible expenses Company-paid disability and life insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Career and Leadership Development Programs Paid time off, company holidays, and volunteer days Our Culture Our values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.
