Help Adolescents Build a New Legacy At Clearfork Academy, we provide high-quality substance abuse and mental health treatment for adolescents and young adults. We're looking for an experienced, adaptable, and solutions-focused Nurse Manager who thrives in a fast-paced behavioral health environment and enjoys balancing direct patient care with leadership responsibilities. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety, takes initiative, leads by example, and can confidently guide a team while responding to changing patient and operational needs. What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care, including patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical documentation Monitor patient health status by completing vital signs, withdrawal assessments (CIWA/COWS), safety assessments, and nursing evaluations Collaborate with physicians, counselors, Recovery Coaches, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the nursing team Assist with staff training, onboarding, competency evaluations, and performance support Ensure compliance with facility policies, Texas regulations, Joint Commission standards, and nursing best practices Monitor medication administration, inventory, documentation, medication error reporting, and infection control procedures Assist with admissions, patient orientations, laboratory coordination, and nursing documentation Interviews all new nursing candidates Help manage nursing supplies, equipment, and daily operational needs Maintain on-call availability for emergencies and staffing support as needed What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
