Route Driver / Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist

American Bolt Corporation is looking for a dependable, customer-focused, and hands-on professional to join our team as a full-time Route Driver (VMI Specialist). If you enjoy working independently, staying active throughout your day, and building strong relationships with customers-this is the role for you.

A Day in the Life of a Route Driver

This is more than just driving-this is a customer-facing, problem-solving role on the move.

• Start your day by loading your route vehicle with pre-picked orders
• Travel to customer locations and deliver essential products
• Stock and replenish inventory bins on-site
• Use scanning tools to track inventory and generate replenishment orders
• Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs and anticipating demand
• Represent American Bolt with a positive, professional attitude

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable climbing step ladders while handling product
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of delivery/route driving or customer service experience
• Merchandising experience (preferred, not required)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, starting at 7:00 AM
• End times vary by route (2:30 PM – 4:00 PM)
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
