Registered Nurse – PCU

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 1845-0715 (36 hours only)

Assignment Details

Contract length: Longer contracts accepted through 2/27/2027. Weekend coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Float required as needed. Must be willing to work holidays. Ratio: 1:6. RTO policy: Will not accept more than 7 days of RTO.

Requirements

• BLS & ACLS required
• NIHSS preferred
• 2 years of cardiac experience required
• MS/Tele/Step down experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of cardiac experience
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with various cardiac conditions including atrial fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, and more.
• Monitor and manage post-operative care after cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
• Assist with sheath management and removal.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as EKG, arterial lines, and bladder scanners.
• Document and communicate patient information via EMR systems.
• Participate in unit-based teamwork and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Compliance / Notes
