Registered Nurse- PACU- Per-Diem

Position Overview CapsuleAID is looking to hire Per-Diem PACU RN's. We are looking for compassionate and reliable RN's to work in a state‑of‑the‑art facility providing Post Anesthesia Care to patients who have undergone minor heart surgeries. The ideal candidates must have 6 months to 1 year of experience working in the PACU unit in a hospital setting or surgery center. Must be commutable to the Coral Springs area and be accustomed to working in this type of setting. If you have a track record of success in healthcare, we want you to join us! Requirements of the RN Position Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study. Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Background screening as required by the state or contract. The RN should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job. Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down the stairs; position patients; walk long distances; and stand for prolonged periods. CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies. Representative Duties and Responsibilities Complies with CapsuleAID Services policies and procedures. Provides general care services relating to PACU care. Assess healthcare needs of patients through a variety of routine assessments, and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing and health care plans accordingly. Perform health screenings of patients or clients. Respond to emergency healthcare needs of patients. Collect and record data specific to the health status of patients or clients. Administer medications/treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners. Maintains confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility and staff in accordance with HIPAA. Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice as set forth by the American Nurses Association or equivalent nursing organization. Provides patient care in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
