Pay: $17/hr. | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP | Contract Opportunity

BG Staffing is currently seeking a dependable Porter for a residential community in Hempstead, NY 11550 . This is a great opportunity for someone with apartment turn or maintenance experience who is ready to start immediately and grow into a long-term role.

Position Details

Role: Porter
Location: Hempstead, NY 11550
Pay: $17/hr.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Opportunity Type: Contract

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property grounds
Clean breezeways, stairwells, and common areas
Remove trash from dumpsters, common areas, and exterior spaces
Perform light landscaping tasks such as:
- Raking, blowing, and debris removal
- Watering plants and maintaining flower beds
Assist maintenance staff with basic tasks as needed
Report any maintenance or safety concerns to onsite staff

Requirements

Previous groundskeeping or general labor experience preferred
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to support the onsite team
