About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS, NRP, TNCC preferred Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Previous charge experience required Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment. Rotating night and evening shifts are required. Primary need is for night shift at this time. All age ranges of patients will be treated, from infants to geriatrics. Patient care will involve a variety of diagnoses across all systems. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, which may increase with lower acuity patients. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. Floating within the specialty and affiliated facilities may be necessary as needed. Candidates must be comfortable with patient care management in critical situations. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is required. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Skills in acute care management, triage, and emergency procedures are essential. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse patient needs. Candidates should have experience in handling complex cases and emergencies. Compliance with all required certifications and training is necessary.
