Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech (General) to join a dynamic team. This role includes a mix of general ultrasound and interventional procedures , working primarily with adult and geriatric populations , with occasional exposure to neonates and pediatrics.

⏰ Schedule & Call

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts (same hours)
• On-call required (standby rotation):
  • Saturday & Sunday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience (REQUIRED)
• Travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ARDMS (AB, OB, or Breast preferred)
• Epic experience REQUIRED
• Experience in community hospital settings REQUIRED

Key Skills & Experience

General Ultrasound:

• Abdomen (Liver, Gallbladder, Pancreas, Spleen)
• Appendix, Aorta, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis 

OB/GYN:

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester
• Fetal anatomy surveys 

Small Parts:

• Thyroid, Breast, Testicular, Superficial masses 

Procedures:

• Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies/FNA

Additional:

• Renal, bladder, pelvic imaging
• Portables, ED, NICU exposure 

Facility Highlights

• 266-bed Acute Care Hospital
• Epic Charting System
• Daily Census: ~11 patients
• Adult & Geriatric focused population
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
