The Vibrant Life Assistant will also assist carrying out Vibrant Life activities within the property, as assigned./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliOperate property vehicle/van safely for daily outings and medical appointments./liliAssist with the safe loading of property residents on to and off of property vehicle/van./liliFollow all state and federal laws when operating the vehicle/van. Comply with standards and processes of vehicle/van inspection and driving./liliAct as a member of the Vibrant Life staff when on outings and within the community./liliParticipate in daily outings with the residents to include assistance on and off the vehicle/van, supervision of residents, assistance with personal care, and participation in planned activities./liliAssist with planned property Vibrant Life activities and programs within the community between vehicle/van trips./liliResponsible for ensuring that the vehicle/van is in proper operational order, registration and insurance information is present and up-to-date. Promptly report all vehicle/van safety, mechanical or maintenance issues to supervisor./liliMaintain communication with the property through use of the cell phone. Keep cell phone charged and on during the workday./liliUnderstand that resident safety is paramount. Offer feedback to property staff on ways to improve safety during vehicle/van trips./liliTrain community staff on the proper loading/unloading of the vehicle/van and wheelchair lift usage./liliPer State of California regulations, as a mandated reporter you must report all known or suspected incidents of resident abuse of dependent adults or elders./liliProvide support to communitys marketing efforts through positive/friendly interaction during all property tours and telephone contact with the public, and as directed by a supervisor./liliCommunicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately./liliPerform day-to-day clerical work connected with the position./liliAttend all scheduled in-service classes./liliMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests, following established safety standards./liliEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments./liliSupport a positive and professional image through actions and dress./liliPerforms other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Vibrant Life Director./li/ulpstrongDriver Responsibilities:/strong/pulliResponsible for providing timely and courteous transportation for the residents to and from various activities while providing quality service./liliAssists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle./liliSecures passengers wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip./liliSafely operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service./liliMaintains all community vehicles in good working condition./liliCleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories./liliAssists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process./liliInspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliMust be 21 years or older./liliCurrent commercial drivers license (CDL) (P) passenger endorsed may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations./liliExperience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting./liliMust be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures./liliCompetent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities./li/ulpstrongBenefits/strong/ppIn addition to a rewarding career and competitive salary, Integral offers a comprehensive benefit package./ppEligible team members are offered a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, paid time off and paid holidays.
