Registered Nurse (RN) / MedSurg / Telemetry (Tele) - Nights $2916 / 48hours Contract Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts. Monitor patient vitals, assess changes, and respond per hospital protocol. Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation and safety checks. Identify and elevate clinical concerns promptly to ensure patient safety. Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team and communicate updates clearly. Document care plans, procedures, and outcomes in electronic health records. Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a sterile, safe work environment. Demonstrate accountability for personal workload and meet unit target metrics. Utilize data and metrics to monitor personal performance and patient outcomes. Provide patient and family education tailored to illness and treatment plan. Support professional development through ongoing learning and certification opportunities. Maintain readiness for on-site shifts with reliable attendance and shift punctuality. Experience & Qualifications Active RN license in the state of employment with no sanctions. 2+ years in Med-Surg or Telemetry, with night-shift experience preferred. Proficient with electronic health records and accurate documentation. Vital signs monitoring, escalating changes per protocol within minutes. Medication administration with verification and safety checks per hospital protocol. CPR/BLS certification current at time of hire. Infection control adherence and sterile technique in all procedures. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining teamwork and clear communication. Strong patient and family education, tailored to illness and treatment. Reliability for on-site night shifts with punctual attendance.
