Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN with oncology and chemotherapy administration expertise for a hospital-based night shift assignment in California.

Details

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Oncology patient population requiring chemotherapy administration
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• ONS certification or OCN required
• Competency in administering chemotherapy including complex chemo medication administration
• Prior oncology nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry and oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration to patients
• New hires will complete NEO chemo modules followed by an 8-hour didactic session plus 2 days of chemo administration shadowing with a unit oncology nurse
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates
