Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team for a travel assignment. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will provide high-quality therapy services designed to help patients improve functional abilities, increase independence, and enhance their overall quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapy professional to expand their clinical experience while working in a new healthcare environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic activities and interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, and functional performance Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist patients in developing skills needed to safely perform daily activities and maximize independence Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive equipment, home exercise programs, and safety strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Participate in care planning and assist with discharge planning as appropriate Maintain a safe, clean, and professional therapy environment Adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, documentation systems, and patient populations Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Required: Active COTA license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain Previous clinical experience preferred Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer Competitive weekly travel pay Housing and travel stipends Comprehensive benefits package Dedicated recruiter and clinical support throughout the assignment Travel assignment with potential for extension Opportunities to gain experience in a variety of healthcare settings Opportunities for future travel assignments and continued professional growth Towne U.S. LLC Job ID 19050331.
