Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a competitive weekly package for a 36-hour workweek: $2,100–$2,250 for your dedication and skill.

Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Stepdown or progressive care settings
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, titration of vasoactive drips, and complex assessments
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) charting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Stepdown patients
• Continuously monitor and assess patient status, reporting critical changes to the healthcare team
• Implement care plans tailored to individual patients’ needs
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and utilize critical care equipment
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing education
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
