This position requires 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, consulting with physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans. The therapist will monitor and document the progress of treatments in patient charts and treat patients using various methods, including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Interview and assess patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Consult with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Monitor and record the progress of respiratory treatments.
  • Document findings accurately in patient charts.
  • Provide treatment using techniques such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapies.
Required Experience
  • Must possess current ACLS and BLS certification.
  • CRT and RRT licensure is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program and passing of certification exam is mandatory.
Certifications/Licensure
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) licensure.
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) licensure.
