Job Description In this highly visible, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The primary purpose of the Pathologist Assistant position is to describe and prosect routine and complex surgical pathology specimens under the supervision of a trained pathologist, assist in autopsies, and distribute test requests to requesting patient care unit, facility or physician. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) required Master's of Science degree, or equivalent Graduation from a program approved by the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants (PA/ASCP), or eligible Job Responsibilities Communicate clearly and openly Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment Be accountable for your performance Always look for ways to improve the patient experience Take initiative for your professional growth Be engaged and eager to build a winning team Hours of Work
