Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a crucial role with a focus on cardiac care. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including specific cardiac procedures such as post-cath interventions, balloon pump management, and Impella care. Candidates must possess a valid OH or compact license and current certifications in BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage and monitor patients with advanced cardiac interventions.
• Float to all hospital campuses as required.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent needs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous ICU experience.
• Experience with cardiac-specific interventions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must be willing to float to all campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion).
• Travel experience in healthcare settings is required.
• Valid state nursing license (OH or compact). Pending licenses will not be accepted.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a Day 2x12-Hour shift schedule (07:00 - 19:00) with no blocked schedule or exceptions. Call is required, and candidates should be prepared to do so as needed.
