Job Address:1223 Market Avenue North Canton, OH 44714Outpatient Driver- Full Time and PRN Positions AvailableSunrise Vista is currently recruiting an Outpatient Driver.The Role ItselfThe Outpatient Driver works under the direction of the Director of ClinicalServices and/or Outpatient Director. The primary role is to fulfill patientcare by working collaboratively with the patient and treatment team toallow patients access to care that is within the allowable limits fortransportation to and from programming. The van driver will be required totravel outside of the building for work related purposes, developtransportation routes, and engage in professional interactions with patients,families and possible referral sources/community partners. Documentationof these services will be required in accordance with necessary State, JointCommission, and/or CARF accreditations. Must complete all safety andeducation courses required to maintain employmentQualificationsEducation:21 years or olderMinimum High School diploma or GED.Higher education preferred in the human services field, but notrequired.Completion of additional age specific training within 30 days ofemployment as required.Work Experience:One (1) year of experience in health care field.Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma,and co-occurring substance use disorders preferred.Experience developing efficient transportation routes and arrivingtimely preferred.License:State Driver’s License in good standing without infractionsCPR (within 30 days of employment)Handle with Care (within 30 days of employment)Food Safe CertificationAdditional Requirements:Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communicationskills with patients, families, and other staff.Accountability, compliance, and teamwork.May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.Who we areOur team at Sunrise Vista Behavioral Hospital provides professional,compassionate care for adults and seniors in need of behavioral healthservices in the Canton, Oh area.
