• Shift: Fridays only, 0700 - 1900 (additional flexibility options); other clinics have varied hours
• Hours/Week: Part-time (1 day/week)
• Employment Type: Contract/Per diem
• License/Certifications: MD or DO, unrestricted license, DEA, BLS, board certification in Family Practice
• Experience: Minimum 1 year recent family practice experience within last 2 years

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $135.00
• Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and affiliated clinics
• Diagnose, treat, and prevent common and acute illnesses
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives

What You Need:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in the U.S. or Canada
• Board certification in Family Practice
• Minimum 1 year recent practice experience in family medicine
• BLS certification and DEA registration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work part-time, specifically on Fridays
