Manufacturing Manager

Baxter seeks a Value Stream Leader to oversee manufacturing operations and process development for the Penicillin building at the Round Lake facility. The role involves directing daily production, managing staff and budgets, implementing continuous improvements, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily manufacturing operations within the Penicillin building
• Manage staffing, budgets, costs, labor efficiency, quality, and key performance indicators
• Interview, hire, develop, and supervise direct reports across multiple shifts
• Facilitate process improvements, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years manufacturing or operations experience
• Minimum 3 years supervisory or leadership experience
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, and operations
• Understanding of cGMP and applicable regulatory guidelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise software
• Green or Black Belt certification preferred

Compensation: $112,000 - $154,500 base annually
