Data Governance Analyst

Location: Mclean/Dallas/Atlanta/New York Onsite

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Data Governance experience and Data Governance related processes
• Data management requirements
• Define guidelines as per standards
• Experience with Data Lineage / Metadata
• Knowledge of Data Sources
• Collibra required for Metadata management
• Should be able to define data governance standards
• Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Some reporting exp using Tableau/PowerBI/MicroStrategy desired
• SQL Skills needed
• Financial Industry exp highly desired
• Strong Experience in Data Management /Data Governance/ Data Quality disciplines
• Demonstrated experience with creating standards, frameworks or requirements for data governance, data quality, data management
• Liaised between IT and business to support implementation of metadata and data lineage requirements
• Worked with Business and Data governance teams to identify and designate data domains authoritative data sources
• Has experience with data governance, data quality, and reporting tools like Collibra Data Governance Tool, Collibra Data quality (OwlDQ) tool, SQL query, Tableau, Microstrategy
• Strong communicator across business, data and IT, including progress updates.
