Electrician

Position Summary KEP Electric, a subsidiary of IES Residential, is seeking experienced Electricians in Terre Haute, Indiana and surrounding areas. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both new and existing residential environments, with a strong emphasis on NEC codes, safety, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in residential homes. Diagnose and repair issues related to panels, circuits, breakers, lighting, outlets, GFCIs, switches, and more. Conduct home warranty repairs and ensure homeowner satisfaction through quality service and clear communication. Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while working in lived‑in homes. Accurately complete service tickets and document repairs performed, parts used, and next steps if required. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of company vehicles, tools, and PPE. Communicate effectively with service coordinators, homeowners, and field leadership. Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance or customer satisfaction. Minimum Requirements 2–4 years of experience as a Residential Service Electrician. Strong knowledge of NEC codes and compliance requirements. Demonstrated skill in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics in residential settings. Recognized for high-quality workmanship, professionalism, and safety. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Pass a background check and drug screening. Willingness to work independently and travel to various residential job sites. Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license (as required by state or local jurisdiction). Bilingual in English and Spanish. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or in confined spaces. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Location Terre Haute, Indiana (US-IN).
