Fleet Operations Support Coordinator

Klapec Trucking Company is seeking a proactive and motivated Fleet Operations Support Coordinator to support our drivers while assisting with daily operational activities that keep our fleet moving efficiently.

Position Summary

The Fleet Operations Support Coordinator serves as a key liaison between drivers, dispatch, maintenance, and office personnel. This position provides administrative and operational support throughout the driver lifecycle—from conducting road tests prior to onboarding to daily communication and issue resolution with current drivers. The ideal candidate is organized, good with people, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license or willing to get a Class A CDL within 60 Days with no auto restriction.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate computers and standard software programs.
• Experience with email, data entry, spreadsheets, and electronic recordkeeping preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Maintain Automated Truck Wash
• Test Driving New Drivers
• Assisting Recruiting
• Assisting Safety
• Snow Removal
• Pilot Car Duties
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
• Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers regarding day-to-day operational questions and concerns.
• Support compliance with DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company safety standards.
• Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and report preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or driver support preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Familiarity with transportation management systems, ELD platforms, or dispatch software is a plus.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
