Respiratory TherapistThis position involves working in a dynamic environment, providing care and support to patients in critical care settings. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory therapy services in accordance with established protocols.Shift InformationShift Length: 12 hoursShift Type: DaysGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendHoliday Requirement: Expected to work most holidaysResponsibilitiesThe Respiratory Therapist will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to:Administering breathing treatments and assessing patients' respiratory needs.Conducting arterial blood gas tests, EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures.Delivering non-invasive ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula therapy.Implementing and following respiratory therapy-driven protocols as mandated.Working collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.Floating to various patient care areas, excluding the NICU.Participating in patient education and support initiatives.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in respiratory therapy, specifically in critical care.Travel experience is required.Certifications: Must possess ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
