About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Oncology RN Profession: Client Child Health Specialty: Pediatric Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, APHON Must-Have: Licensed RN with experience in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. Proficient in administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Capable of accessing and de-accessing ports. Strong skills in patient education and care coordination. Description: The role is focused on providing care in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Pediatric Infusion specialties. Responsibilities include access and de-access ports and initiate IV therapies. Administer infusion therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. Provide therapeutic phlebotomy and pain management. Educate patients on their treatment plans and coordinate care effectively. Administer blood products and vaccinations as needed. Perform daily equipment checks and quality control procedures. Engage in care collaboration with outpatient partners. Other duties may be assigned as required. Flexibility to float to other pediatric areas if necessary.
