TECHNICAL INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

We're seeking a motivated and technically-minded Technical Inside Sales Representative to join a growing industrial manufacturing team. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to identify and recommend customized actuator and control solutions, prepare quotations, manage sales orders, and build lasting customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with customer-focused sales support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and technical support.
• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend actuator and control solutions that best meet their needs.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and sales orders.
• Apply technical knowledge and design calculations to develop customized valve automation solutions.
• Manage and track customer projects throughout the quoting and sales process.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth.
• Maintain detailed customer records, including contacts, opportunities, pricing strategies, and competitor information.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue goals and support company growth initiatives.
• Recommend pricing strategies that maximize both profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in person as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of teamwork, learning, and operational excellence.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of related experience or training, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and recommend effective solutions.
• Ability to interpret specifications and apply technical concepts to customer requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office applications.
• AutoCAD experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and business ethics.
• Ability to work occasional extended hours or travel when business needs require.
