Part Time School Based Mental Health Therapist McCall

Overview St. Luke's Health System in McCall is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The position will be providing mental health therapy to students in McCall School District. Clinicians will work collaboratively with the school district employees as well as our larger Pediatric Mental Health team. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about working with this population and wanting to work collaboratively to support the expansion of our school based mental health program. A qualified candidate will have experience working with a varied age range of pediatric patients and their perspective families and caregivers. The candidate will be well versed in evidence-based practice and modalities for pediatric mental diagnoses. Expect interdisciplinary team approach and opportunities to collaborate with entire care team which may include psychiatrist, primary or specialty care physicians. Candidate to be proficient in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, crisis management, family and parenting support and documentation compliance. Skills in time management, independent work, organization, and multi-tasking. Part Time with Benefits Responsibilities Provides initial diagnostic evaluation and makes determination for the need for treatment. Responsible for the planning and provision of mental health treatment services to patients in an individual, family, or group setting. Responsible for the ongoing management and reassessment of the treatment plan, which may include a readjustment of prescribed treatment or goals, and transition or termination planning. Provides crisis intervention services to patients, families, and staff. Coordinates with and supports medication management while monitoring treatment adherence, including communicating with the prescribing provider any side effects and potential complications. Provides community resource information and referrals. Eligible to participate in Third Party billing. Completes documentation in accordance with current policy and requirement for care delivery setting. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field. Experience: None Licenses/Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification and hold a License in the State of Practice in one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) OR Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) #J-18808-Ljbffr St. Luke's Health System
