About the RN Infection Control Nurse Role:

As a full-time RN Infection Control Nurse Mon-Fri Position , you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of infection control practices and policies across our 103-bed facility. This includes conducting routine surveys, identifying and addressing potential risks, and developing and implementing measures to prevent and control the spread of infections. You will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care in a safe and clean environment.

RN Infection Control Nurse Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine surveys and assessments to identify potential infection control risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures, including protocols for isolation precautions, hand hygiene, and standard precautions
• Educate staff on infection control practices and protocols, and provide ongoing training and feedback
• Collaborate with the facility's infection control team to develop and implement effective infection control measures
• Monitor and report infection rates, and work with the quality improvement team to develop and implement interventions to reduce infections
• Participate in facility-wide initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction

RN Infection Control Nurse Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
•Prior experience in infection control or a related field
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
