Job Title Cook at Miguel's Jr., Redlands, CA – Full-time, Flexible schedules, Salary: $17.25–$23/hr. Position Overview Provides high-quality food and customer service in a fast‑paced restaurant environment. Duties include preparing grilled, fried, baked, or microwaved meats and poultry, maintaining inventory, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean work area. Responsibilities Maintain outstanding customer service and process orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Prepare food for customers and maintain proper inventory levels for shifts. Store ingredients properly and maintain inventory of grill station supplies. Cook, fry, bake, or microwave meats and poultry as required. Cut or carve meat, assemble and mix ingredients for dishes. Create a positive work environment while striving to fulfill and execute the company mission statement. Follow and maintain food safety and HACCP processes. Communicate daily with upper management. Monitor quality and cleanliness of food and store environment. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor. Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Ability to speak and read English; second language proficiency is a plus. Positive attitude and professional demeanor. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical Demands and Work Environment Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Must have close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment capabilities.
