Comprehensive Ophthalmologist - Cataract/Glaucoma

Experienced Comprehensive Ophthalmologist / Cataract Surgeon
South Florida Eye Institute is seeking a seasoned, high-volume comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon to join our established practice just outside of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The successful candidate must be capable of independently assuming a busy clinical and surgical schedule from the outset.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Board-certified ophthalmologist-At least eight years of post-training clinical and surgical experience
• Demonstrated success managing a high-volume patient and surgical caseload
• Advanced cataract surgery expertise, including complex and femtosecond laser-assisted cataract procedures
• Experience performing minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS)
• Experience performing blepharoplasty, particularly functional upper-eyelid procedures
• Consistently strong surgical outcomes and patient-satisfaction history
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and ability to collaborate with clinical staff
• Bilingual - English and Spanish
• Medical retina experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with premium IOLs, refractive cataract surgery, and cosmetic blepharoplasty is also desirable.
