Information Technology Specialist

Job Description Information Technology (IT) Specialist. Transform technology into opportunity by designing, configuring, installing, verifying, and maintaining program WANs, LANs, and supporting data management and validation tasks. Responsibilities Compile, arrange, store, and retrieve information to support customers, projects, or programs. Administer, evaluate, install, and maintain LANs and WANs. Provide graphical user interface access to databases using tools such as Java, CORBA, and C++. Design, test, and implement interface programs and develop security procedures. Perform planning, cost analysis, and all aspects of large‑scale projects. Design, test, and implement large‑scale LAN and WAN applications and troubleshoot problems. Coordinate network policy, procedures, and standards. Assist in training users. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field. 6+ years of related experience. Proficiency in network management, cybersecurity fundamentals, system administration, data management, technical support, and cloud computing. Public Trust security clearance (or ability to obtain). Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, self‑starter, and physical ability for installations in challenging locations. Highly collaborative and comfortable working in research environments with partial or incomplete requirements. On‑site location in Egg Harbor Township, NJ; optional work at Atlantic City, NJ.
