Senior Patient Recruitment and Engagement Lead

PPD, a Thermo Fisher Scientific clinical research business, seeks a Senior Patient Recruitment and Engagement Lead to drive global enrollment strategies across clinical trials. The role combines strategic leadership with operational execution, overseeing recruitment campaigns, vendor relationships, and performance analytics while ensuring compliance and patient engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead global recruitment and retention strategy aligned with enrollment goals and study lifecycle
• Develop recruitment plans, identify risks, and adjust tactics based on study performance data
• Oversee recruitment campaign materials including development, approval, translation, and distribution
• Monitor enrollment metrics, analyze trends, and deliver performance dashboards to clients and stakeholders
• Manage third-party recruitment vendors, budgets, and cross-functional study teams throughout enrollment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• 5+ years patient recruitment experience within clinical trials and study management
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing global recruitment campaigns
• Client-facing experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sponsors
• Vendor management, budget oversight, and cross-functional project team leadership experience
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret recruitment data and develop performance reports
