Maintenance Custodian Associate

Base pay range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr Position Summary...Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. You will be assessed as follows You thrive in fast-paced environments You take pride in your work You’re comfortable with change and quickly adapt to different work scenarios You keep member satisfaction as your top priority You can work an entire shift on your feet and in physically demanding environments What you’ll do Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary Ensure customers have a great first and last impression Maintain a positive attitude Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed Follow safety standards and procedures, including safety sweeps, forklift procedures, hazardous materials handling and disposal, and reporting unsafe situations Support general facility cleaning (floors, windows, restrooms, restock supplies) using approved methods and chemicals Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
