Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry in Lima, Ohio. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care on night shifts, utilizing clinical skills and scientific knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Lima, Ohio
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Ohio or Ohio Nurse Compact (RN) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, active NIHSS certification, 2+ years of experience, proficiency with cardiac medications (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) including titration and administration, telemetry competency, strong critical thinking, and ability to recognize signs of stroke and patient status changes.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically in Medical Surgical with Telemetry.
• Additional Information: Must be competent with cardiac medications, telemetry, heart rhythms, and possess strong communication skills. Must be able to recognize and intervene in changes in patient conditions, including signs of stroke. Submission should include a current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty and verification of active Ohio/OH or Compact RN license.
