Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7PM - 7AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Med Surg RN License: Current state RN licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. Ensures the implementation of solutions. May be requested to float to an equal or lesser acuity unit. Base telemetry experience is preferred.
