Fund Servicing Analyst - Global Fund Services Operations Bank Loans

Bank Loan Administration is responsible for capturing trade instruction, settlements, and lifecycle events for bank loan assets under Fund Services. The team partners with various internal and external parties, including but not limited to, fund accounting, client services, fund managers, as well as agent banks. As a Fund Servicing Analyst / Associate within the Bank Loan Administration team, you will play a crucial role in managing the trade instruction capture, settlements, and lifecycle events for bank loan assets within our Fund Services division. You will work closely with a network of internal and external partners, including fund accounting, client services, fund managers, and agent banks, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client service.Job responsibilitiesUnderstand of all aspects of Syndicated/Private loan or deal administration functions (including all aspects of funding)Be responsible for the bank loan life cycle events including paydown, drawdown, interest rate resets, payment-in-kind interest calculations, delayed compensation accruals / calculations and trade settlementsUnderstand all aspects of reconciliations (Position/stock and Cash)Develop a thorough knowledge of our client base and build relationships with Investment Managers and other related third parties. Work closely with your clients to resolve queries and provide first level account serviceCreate, maintain and update procedures for client specific deliverablesReview of daily controls and communication of any new training or procedural changes to the team; ensure that all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies are complied with across all groupsEnsure all scheduled work is completed by agreed deadlines, checklists are signed, and files contain all required documentation; work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectivenessAssist in testing and implementation of system enhancements as requiredRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting , with minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in bank debt / leveraged loan operationsExcellent communication and relationship/partnership-building skills both with team members as well as other business partnersStrong attention to detail with a control mindset, time management, planning skills and the ability to handle multiple competing prioritiesDemonstrates flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environmentStrong decision-making skills, ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
