Pharmacists with inpatient hospital experience are needed for travel assignments on the Central Coast of California. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to work in dynamic hospital settings supporting patient care through medication management and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Assignments are available in both San Luis Obispo and Templeton, CA, with the following shift options:

• Days: Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Nights: Seven days on, seven days off schedule

Ideal candidates will hold an active California pharmacist license and have at least one year of current inpatient pharmacy experience. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically EPIC and Cerner, is required. Experience using Omnicell medication dispensing systems is also valuable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Order verification ensuring accuracy and safety of prescribed medications
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and managing workflow
• Consulting and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Managing pharmacokinetics and optimizing medication therapy

This assignment is a travel role, requiring flexibility to relocate temporarily to the Central Coast region. The initial duration is at least 13 weeks with an ASAP start.
