Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small-group counseling to high school students, creating a safe and supportive space for social, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Manage student cases, collaborating with staff, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in crisis intervention, serving as a trusted support during urgent situations
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention plans and contribute to student support meetings
- Active LMSW or LCSW license in New Mexico
- Current NM PED credential as a School Social Worker
- Experience in school-based settings with high school populations preferred
- Proficiency in case management, documentation, and evidence-based counseling modalities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
