Canton Mancan Staffing Agency is assisting a local company in hiring a Property Occupancy Specialist
A clean background, valid drivers license, and reliable transportation are required, as travel between sites may be necessary.

THIS IS JUST A TEMPORARY POSITION!!

HS Diploma or GED
Basic Computer skills and applicable office software ( Microsoft Office)
Standard business office equipment.
Job Summary: Responsible for properly managing wait lists and determining eligibility for housing assistance through the preparation, verification, and maintenance of applicant documentation. Responsible for daily monitoring of vacant unit listings for placement of applicants and ensuring a sufficient number of applicants are approved and available for vacant units at all times. Provides strong customer service through efficient intake and communication with applicants and by addressing basic service needs.
Key Responsibilities: Review applicant documentation including photo IDs, Social Security cards, birth certificates, disability letters, and income verification documents. Determined appropriate housing placement based on family size, age, and gender. Maintained compliance with Admissions and Occupancy policies, followed up on missing documentation, processed electronic forms through Adobe Sign, updated applicant records and waitlists, and coordinated with community agencies to support applicant placement and housing offers.

Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a housing-related field or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and bilities to perform the essential duties for the job.
