Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist providing dedicated care to students in an educational environment. This full-time role spans August 13, 2026, through May 21, 2027, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours each week.

You’ll collaborate within a supportive school setting, helping students achieve their full potential through expert physical therapy services. While specifics on caseload and school assignment are still to come, the supportive community is seeking professionals who are collaborative, motivated, and committed to making an impact.

Qualified candidates will bring:

• Active Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, contribute to IEPs, and carry out progress monitoring
• Competence with treatment services tailored to student needs
• Familiarity with developing letters of medical necessity (LMNs)
• Knowledge of classroom equipment and accommodations
• Experience supervising at least one Physical Therapist Assistant
• Training in Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) for PreK students is a plus
• Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering physical therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
• Conducting thorough assessments and documenting outcomes
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and contributing to team meetings
• Monitoring student performance and documenting progress
