The salary range for this position is $24.29 - $35.22 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. Benefits

The Certified Sugical Tech facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Call Coverage Expectations Full-time staff participate in non-specialty call coverage, averaging 32 hours over a 6-week cycle (2 weeks on call, followed by 4 weeks off). All team members share coverage for winter and summer holidays. Excluded services: cardiac, neuro, and ortho specialties. Responsibilities Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, medications, solutions, instruments, equipment, implants, and supplies. Ensures availability and functionality of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Receives and processes specimens, if required, for delivery to the laboratory.
