Litigation Legal Assistant

Legal Assistant (Litigation) - Denver, CO A growing law firm in downtown Denver is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its collaborative team. This is a newly created position due to continued growth and offers the opportunity to support a busy litigation practice while working closely with attorneys and administrative staff in a professional, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong litigation experience who enjoys balancing legal support responsibilities with day-to-day office operations and administrative coordination. Position Highlights Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote after training Competitive compensation at $65k-$85K+, with flexibility based on experience Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) with employer contributions Responsibilities Coordinate e-filing in state and federal courts, including assembling exhibits and preparing filing materials Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence Maintain electronic and physical client files Manage document organization and filing within a document management system Assist attorneys with expense submissions and administrative requests Support time entry and other legal administrative functions Order and maintain office supplies, kitchen supplies, and attorney lunches Coordinate office events, celebrations, and meetings Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues and coordinate maintenance requests Collaborate with legal support professionals across multiple offices Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed Qualifications 2-4 years of recent litigation legal assistant or legal secretary experience Experience with state and federal court e-filing Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Excellent proofreading and document formatting skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional written and verbal communication skills Law firm experience required Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred Preferred Background Candidates with experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, civil litigation, construction litigation, or other litigation-focused practices are encouraged to apply.
